Officially Recognized!
Just yesterday we met with the Fayette County Commissioners Scott Dunn, Vince Vitis and Harry Kaufman and they not only recognized The Cook Farm for receiving the Bicentennial Farm award, but also officially recognized August 8, 2026 as The Cook Farm 250th celebration day! How cool is that? More good news! The 46th Regiment band has agreed to come and they have several other music groups they are contacting for us to see if they will come too. We are really grateful for

Being a farmer himself it was clear that he understands the importance of farms and

It's been crazy busy!
There have been meetings, and phone calls, and more meetings! Recently, I met with the Fayette County, PA 250 planning committee. What a great group of people who are ready to help us in any way they can! I am so excited! Christopher Staud from the Forgotten Flag Foundation, said he was going to bring 250 flags that we can display onsite. Ashley Howes from Discover Fayette PA will be helping us with finding vendors for tents, food trucks and more. They were a wealth

Oh the stress of it!
For those of you who know Mark or as some call him Cookie, you know he likes to travel and trek off into the unknown. Well this fall he traveled all around our state to all sorts of fairs, re-enactments, craft shows and historical sites gathering info, asking questions and giving tons of invites to our 250 celebration. (Since that is so tiresome to write out - I have to come up with a shortened version... The 250? The 250 C? How about Cookies' 250? ?) Cookie has been makin
