Officially Recognized!

Just yesterday we met with the Fayette County Commissioners Scott Dunn, Vince Vitis and Harry Kaufman and they not only recognized The Cook Farm for receiving the Bicentennial Farm award, but also officially recognized August 8, 2026 as The Cook Farm 250th celebration day! How cool is that?

More good news! The 46th Regiment band has agreed to come and they have several other music groups they are contacting for us to see if they will come too. We are really grateful for their help and input!

If you take a look at our website you will see the list of attendees is GROWING! We have a lot of new vendors, speakers, food trucks and government officials that are still finalizing plans! If you are a vendor or food truck please apply soon as space is running out!

If you are a teacher or coach that has students that need to do work for senior projects or volunteer hours, please don't hesitate to ask. We are willing to certify all hours at our official Historical event!

Also, a big shout out to friends new and old and family that came to our planning meeting on Feb 17th. We got a lot of info out, sold some t-shirts and had great discussions. We are so thankful for everyone's help!

We still need lots of help! Please consider volunteering!

Thank you!
