To be a Volunteer

Volunteers will be the back bone of this event!  We know that without you we would not be able to have this celebration for our community!  So please think about volunteering at any level.  We will need committee leaders and planners to garbage pickers.  Volunteers will  need to attend at least one meeting before the event and then help serve at least 4 hours that day.  If you would like to serve more time, that is appreciated!  All volunteers get free parking, free admittance and access to our hospitality service area. (located in the back of the big house)  Hospitality will be staff only and include airconditioned rooms, food, drinks, private bathroom, sitting area and EMT area.  Expect to be standing, sitting, and walking in the hot sun that day.  Please let us know if you have any limitations and we will try to accommodate you as best as we can!  Every volunteer will be expected to wear a historical costume which can be a simple shirt and skirt or trousers.  Volunteers will be given badges they must wear to help all staff identify you.
